Dr. Marissa Leppek, Chiropractor
Dr. Marissa Leppek graduated in the top of her class at Palmer College of Chiropractic. While in school she was class president and anatomy lab assistant. She was also a chiropractic teaching assistant where she gained knowledge of treating pediatric and pregnant patients, one of her passions. While on a mission trip to Bequia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines Dr. Leppek was able to give her services to the less fortunate, an invaluable experience.
Prior to joining the team at the Advanced Wellness Centre, she worked in St Louis and honed her skills and knowledge in Sacro Occipital Technique which utilizes a systemic and systematic approach to remove neurological, structural, and functional interferences thereby restoring the innate healing capacity. She also helped to facilitate the 5th Annual Urban Health Fair in St. Louis; a health fair designed to raise awareness and educate the community about the benefits of holistic medicine. Dr. Leppek is also trained in various other techniques including extremity adjusting, Activator, COX Flexion Distraction, Diversified, Gonstead, and Thompson Drop. Dr. Leppek is thrilled to be a part of the Advanced Wellness Centre. She looks forward to furthering her knowledge and working with women’s health issues and children. She is an excellent communicator and is eager to listen to her patients and address their health issues.
