Facility

At the Advanced Wellness Centre we understand how to enhance healing and wellness while promoting our patient's quality of life. With five unique yet integrated disciplines we address the body as a whole. Our proffessionals and staff have apassion and commitment for serving and healing. Many patients enter one of our centers-Chiropractic, Physical Therapy, Massage, Acupuncture or Nutrition but often utilize additional centres for an integrative approach that enhances their outcomes. We are privileged to take care of patients of all ages from infants to the elderly.

Appointments
If you would like to make an appointment, please contact our office by phone or email. Our office facilitates communications and emergency calls and appointments are available and welcome, especially for new patients seeking help.

Financial
We will be more than happy to submit all insurance forms for you and help you recover the most from your benefits. We will do everything we can to help you afford the treatment you need and want. Forms of payment accepted by the office are check, cash, or any major credit card.

Cancellation
If you are unable to keep an appointment, we ask that you kindly provide us with at least 24 hours notice. We ask for this advance notice so that we can offer this appointment to another patient. A fee may be charged if a patient does not show up for an appointment without sufficient notice.

Position Title: Acupuncturist

Position Duties: Provide acupuncture treatment to patients with medical disorder. Review a patients medical history, physical findings and diagnosis to ascertain symptoms or disorders to be treated. Select needles of various lengths, according to location of insertion. Insert needles at locations of body known to be efficacious to certain disorders, utilizing knowledge of acupuncture points and their functions. Leave needles in patient for specific length of time, according to symptom of disorder to be treated, and remove needles.

Requirement(s): Masters degree or equivalent in Acupuncture or related field.
